Who am I?
I’ve been building companies since the early days of the internet. In the 1990s, I co-founded Commissioner.com, the first fantasy sports platform on the internet. We created fantasy games for the NFL, MLB, PGA, and other major leagues, and sold the company in 1999 in a mid-eight-figure acquisition. The products we built are still in use today.
Since then, I’ve been involved in multiple startups as a founder, advisor, and investor — across technology, media, blockchain, and AI. One of those companies recently raised a seed round at an eight-figure valuation led by Mark Cuban.
Before tech, I was an entertainment lawyer. I co-authored the 7th edition of This Business of Music, advised artists, songwriters, producers, and labels, and became a recurring expert on copyright issues on television. I later authored The NFT Handbook, which became an Amazon bestseller.
Today, my focus is on building and advising modern AI-driven products — and sharing what I’ve learned from multiple technology cycles with founders who want to build things that last.
Currently coaching and advising a select few founders who care more about signal than hype.
